At the Behavioral Health Center, we recognize that the key to long-lasting recovery is family support. We offer education and therapy to help families understand and face mental health issues together.
Family Involvement and Education
Our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and behavioral health staff uses a holistic approach to care. We treat the whole person, not just the health condition, and we involve family members in the patient's treatment.
For additional support, we offer educational materials for patients and their families that cover medications and common behavioral issues. Learn more about our behavioral health treatments and therapy for patients.
We understand that behavioral health conditions affect the entire family, not just the individual. Our staff offers services for people who have loved ones in treatment for behavioral health conditions at our Behavior Health Center. These family services provide many benefits for patients and their families, including effective methods to:
- Support someone with a mental health condition
- Interact effectively with behavioral health professionals
- Deal with the problems that arise when living with or supporting someone with a mental health condition
- Take care of themselves emotionally, mentally and physically

NAMI Connection: Support Group for People With a Mental Illness
NAMI Connection is a weekly support group for people living with a mental health condition. The group provides a safe, confidential setting for participants to share their challenges and successes with others. Participants gain insight and hope by developing relationships and a sense of community. This peer support group is led by NAMI-trained facilitators who are in recovery from a mental illness.
NAMI Family Support Group
This support group is for family members with a loved one who has a mental health condition. Group members learn from one another's experiences, share coping strategies and offer encouragement, understanding and support.
