Welcome from our Program Director
Welcome to Medical Center of Trinity's Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. This is a four-year training program with a simple mission: Create a welcoming environment where our residents will thrive and become exceptional radiologists.
Our four-year ACGME accredited program accepts six applicants each year and requires a preliminary year of Internal Medicine, Transitional Year or Preliminary Surgery prior to beginning Diagnostic Radiology residency.
Medical Center of Trinity Radiology Residency program’s mission is to develop the next generation of physicians and physician leaders. As a part of HCA Healthcare, we are driven by a single mission: Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.
This program is designed to offer residents a rewarding, educational environment where residents are provided individualized learning opportunities by faculty and staff who support and sustain one another throughout quality care delivery. Our faculty are committed to ensuring the residents' clinical experience and educational needs are fulfilled while expanding residents’ perspectives to be inclusive of cultures, values, and ideals.
The Radiology Residency Program at Medical Center of Trinity is an accredited four-year training program culminating in candidates who will be eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
Our interdisciplinary approach to learning fosters excellent opportunities for professional growth, committed mentorship and clinical research. Alongside dedicated attending physicians and enthusiastic colleagues, residents strive for excellence in their training and provide high-quality healthcare in patient-centered environments and community-oriented service.
Our rotation schedule allows for all required rotations, exposure to necessary procedures and includes a well-rounded didactic schedule with lectures and cases conferences, Monthly journal clubs, tumor boards and Grand Rounds are included in our schedule as well.
Residents and faculty participate in research projects, with support from our West Florida Division Research Director and liaison.
Our goal is to graduate well-trained radiologists ready for competitive fellowships and ABR certification who will ultimately be able to enjoy successful careers in both academic and private practice settings.
