About Mona McCullough

Dr. Mona McCullough is a native Floridian who has served women of Florida for nearly two decades. Her interest in women's health began as a young student at the University of Florida, when she became a Volunteer HIV/AIDS Counselor. The experience fulfilled her strong desire to serve humanity while completing her Bachelor's & Master's Degrees in Biomedical Engineering. This unique path into medicine was intentional so she could achieve maximal understanding of human mechanics and how to restore anatomy for function. She then completed a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami, followed by a 4-year Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida. She continued there for an additional 3-year Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, focusing on robotic and laparoscopic techniques as well as traditional surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

Dr. McCullough is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and an active candidate for board certification (“board eligible”) in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (“Urogynecology”). She is the first provider in the New Port Richey/Suncoast area who is Fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. McCullough also continues to participate in collaborative research as an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of South Florida, Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynecology. In addition to her professional interests, Dr. McCullough enjoys athletic outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
