Obstetrics

A state-of-the-art obstetrics unit provides the warmth and comforting care you desire with the birth of your baby. Our private birthing and mother-baby suites create a comforting and secure environment and are furnished with the latest technology and equipment.

Your care, and your baby’s birth, will be guided by a knowledgeable and caring staff of medical professionals that include:

Childbirth Education

Our Certified Childbirth Educator, Donna Turkovics, RN, offers a variety of programs and classes to prepare the entire family for the birth of a new baby.


6-Week Childbirth Preparation Course

Provides expectant parents with information to prepare for childbirth and the hospital experience. This class meets one night per week from 7:00 to 9:00 pm ($70).

Saturday Childbirth SuperPrep Class

A one-day accelerated/refresher course. This class is offered monthly on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm ($50).

Pediatric CPR

You could save the life of your child! Learn the skills of the American Heart Association Course, “CPR for Family and Friends.” This is a two hour course ($15 for one person, $25 for two people).

Breastfeeding Class

A motivational class detailing the health benefits of breastfeeding with a focus on fundamentals and how to access support. This is a two hour course(free).

Siblings Class

This unique class will feature fun and interactive activities that will prepare your child for the arrival of a new baby. Topics covered include: What a new baby looks like; how to become a “big helper;” and how to make friends with the new baby. For children between 3-10 years and a parent ($10/child).

Infant Care Class

Provides parents with the knowledge and skills to make their transition into parenting smooth and comfortable ($40).
