The Award recognizes individuals whose daily dedication and care giving epitomize the highest standards of quality and personal commitment. Each year, the Award honors outstanding individuals for their humanitarian and volunteer activities, and to recognize employees, volunteers, and physicians at HCA facilities.
Three national awards are given annually, and each facility selects local recipients and submits their nomination packets to the home office for consideration at the national level. To receive the national Frist Humanitarian Award is the company’s highest honor.
